We would like to pay special attention to our serviced apartment concept My4walls. The right brand at the right place. We started with this idea in Hamburg in 2017.
Based on an extensive market research and with our experience from our hotel and serviced apartment portfolio the My4walls brand as well as the interior design was developed. Working with the owner the architecture and mechanical systems of the property were completely refurbished. For its unique concept my4walls Serviced Apartments was the winner at 2018 SO! Apart Awards in Leipzig leading the category "New and Special".
Following a pre-opening phase we opened the serviced apartments under a management agreement in 2018. Since then we have positioned the property in the market and have managed it successfully until the sale of the property in 2022.
Our knowledge of the hotel market, the connection to our guests as well as our understanding of our competition gives us a solid foundation for successfully operating such properties in a wide variety of locations. We will therefore continue to expand the successful My4walls concept and transfer it to other locations.
B&K is represented by an agile sailing ship in the centre, with its goals clearly in sight. It can play out the company's strengths depending on the weather conditions. At the top right are the values that the privately owned company combines with the advantages of international hotel chains to create "best of both worlds": professional structures by maintaining a high degree of individuality. The focus is always on the B&K family (guests, associates and business partners).

During the past years there has been a strong trend to separate the ownership of real estate from its operation. This is mainly due to the entrance of institutional investors - such as private equity investments - to the hotel real estate market. As these investors are typically foreign to the hotel industry, asset managers are consulted in order to monitor the operational performance of a hotel or hotel portfolio.
